A period drama following a cop in 1860's New York.
Kevin Corcoran is a rugged, Irish immigrant police officer who is searching for information about the disappearance of his wife and the death of his daughter. While doing so, he works the streets of the Five Points neighborhood in New York City.

This is very disappointing, this show is actually very good, and everybody I know loves it. It seems like the TV executives throw darts while blindfolded at the shows that they will continue and the ones that get canceled.

Copper is a great show: great writing great characters and great acting. It also shows a piec of Civil War history often overlooked. It would be a great fit on FX along with the Bridge and Justified.

Copper not only provided great stories, but also a glimpse at an important historical perspective. Along the other suggestions, it would seem, to be a perfect fit at FX along with Bridge and Justified.

These guys/gals can act and the love of their craft is evident in their commitment to character.
I am transfixed in the plot and am begging for more.
Please cancel your cancel and let coppers survive!

With all the Kaka poopoo that floods the networks, it is a travesty to lose such a quality program.
I hope that you reconsider and bring this program back.
Please give me a copper for my thoughts.

I loved this show, but to be honest, the second season just was not up to par. I started skipping through it just to know what happens. I wasn't hanging on every moment like with the first season.
I heard the writers changed and they expanded the budget to get bigger names. You expand the budget, and the expectations rise. They did not meet expectations.
Still - Corky, Maguire and Morehouse - one helluva trio.

Copper was a wonderfully written and extremely well acted show. It amazes me that you cancel the great shows just to keep on the crappy reality and mind numbing tv that is prevalent in our society today. BRING BACK COPPER!!!

OMG!! I love this show! If you are going to cancel a show, it should be Law & Order UK. No offense, but it is just a rehash of the American episodes that can still be seen on about 12 different channels throughout the day. Please reconsider Copper and bring Corky BACK!
