Netflix announced today that the upcoming final season of Cobra Kai will be released as a 3-part event beginning in July. The first batch of episodes will premiere as Part 1 on July 18, followed by a second batch of episodes as Part 2 on November 28. Then a Finale Event to conclude the story will release sometime in 2025.
Serving as a follow-up to 'The Karate Kid' film series, Cobra Kai is set 30 years after the events of the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament. Still haunted by his past, Johnny Lawrence looks for redemption by reopening the infamous Cobra Kai karate dojo. But his old rivalry with Daniel LaRusso is reignited when their lives become intertwined with the up-and-coming generation of karate kids.
The final season will pick up with Cobra Kai eliminated from the Valley, leaving the senseis and students to decide if and how they will compete in the Sekai Taikai - the world championships of karate.

i don't think you can pause a netflix subscription. unless you are such a pain they let you do it.
I am Unhappy that netlix is parsing the final penultimate story of sweep the leg guy and his antigonist daniel laruso.
I think with enough talk, we can get the end of the karate feud this year. enough talk got amc to release season 4 of snowpiercer.
Actual fans spoke, got snowpiercer to drop a year early.
And if we netflix fans, minus anonymous dipshit fan driopping netflix before that sweet that sweet... wait for it... sastisfaction.
"how many times did he say mine myine mine before the pool"! someone chases this poser with lip balm.

Well it looks like I will be saving some money pausing my Netflix subscription until 2026 with this news and Stanger Things. I am sure by then my now $11.99 a month subscription which was the original $9.99 a year ago will be $20.99 by then.

It’s a great show. One my whole family has gotten into. But releasing it in batches is such a bad idea.

This show is just so much fun to watch. It is really, REALLY hard to balance just the right amount of humor / campiness in a show that doesn't take itself that seriously. Generally speaking I don't like camp, because it is usually poorly executed. However I thoroughly enjoy this show, love all the 80s references, and harken back to a time in my life of which I wish I had taken full advantage.
