I like the character Rusty. He starred at the end of The Closer and the storyline continued into Major Crimes. His story is really remarkable and I applaud the character. It also shows that the police and detectives are human and yet a family. They have each other's back and watch over Rusty for Sharon who plays a great role. I have loved the show and couldn't wait for Sharon to adopt Rusty to show that there are good people out there and that people can get out of a bad situation and make a better life for themselves.

I love the Rusty Character. He allows us to see the other characters more clearly. Not just their jobs but their humanity. He belongs on the show.

I thought i was the only one who intensely disliked the Rusty character, but apparently not. The focus of the show should centre around the comradeship and teamwork of the Major Crimes Department, not the life dramas of what should have been a minor and temporary character. Rusty has had more script space than most of the main cast, so much so that the series should be labelled 'The Rusty Show'. It's hard enough for the fans to watch M.J without Brenda, we need the series to get back on track before it loses the fan support it needs and ends up getting cancelled as a result !

Enough of Rusty....Let's get back with the Crimes as in the name "Major Crimes" or I will on
Another station especially if he comes out to be gay.

Rusty started with Brenda on the Closer and has always been in Major Crimes and belongs there. the rest of the group has adopted him also. They work well as a team.

I love rusty and the growth that he has gone through...the kindness of the relationship between him and sharon...and how much all have made a difference in his life. A kid who didn't have a chance now has one...what a great story line...I love this show and all of its characters

Take rusty off. Sharon needs to baby him at her house and not at the office. What kind of show is this, a detective series or a mommy's little boy comedy. In fact rusty sucks at anything he is in. I guess major crimes is the only this this little fart could play in, and he ruinned major crimes ever since he has been on this series. Put him in a late night cartoon comedy. That's better suited for rusty....

Take that queer looking rusty of of major crimes.... he is so sheepish...creepy.

I really did enjoy and looked forward to watching major crimes, until they put rusty on there. What is so special about this creepy, sissy looking, whinny, whimpy, momma's baby of a boy. He absolutely ruins this show. This is suppose to be a detective series and not a place to babysit poor little spoiled rotten rusty. If he has to be on this show keep him out of the major crimes building. Keep him at sharon's house out of view of the public. Sharon looks at times like she could knock the living heck out of rusty, anyway, and I wish she would because I would not blame her one bit. That little funky boy makes me sick. Take him of off major crimes, and I will continue to watch the series. Until the, you people can keep babysitting rusty in a detective series......

I dont care if Rusty is gay or from mars I just want him gone.
The best of the show are the detectives and other actors.
