Juliette Barnes is a young, sassy, up-and-coming crossover artist with a troubled past. She is determined to take Rayna's spot at the top, but her public image is threatened by circumstances out of her control.

I'm so gutted and pissed that Nashville's been cancelled. It easily had a good couple of seasons left in it, if not more. So much tripe on TV these days and the good ones get axed. R.I.P Nashville, great cast, great storylines.

This show is a winner, and anyone that thinks that a gay character killed the show is an idiot! It's life. Real life. The ups, the downs and all the tears that go with it. ABC has screwed the pooch on this one. In my humble opinion, the breaks in the seasons of the shows is what is causing all the problems. No Nashville, no Castle... way to lose viewers ABC. (feel free to replace them with some reality based pieces of crap we won't watch anyway).

I'm so tired of a show having a drop in ratings and they cancel it channel 2&4 are the same way the problem is the show only drops in ratings because it's off the air for a month at a time and when it finally comes back on its not long before it's off for the season until the new season begins again. You cant expect the ratings on any show not to fluctuate when that happens and from the looks of all these good shows I used to like they don't care enough about how we the people who watch them feel.

I can't believe they are STUPID ENOUGH to cancel the only show worth watching on ABC I suppose they will replace it with some kind of godamm zombie show. Without Nashville there is no longer a reason to waste time watching ABC. In my opinion whoever made this decision should have their ASS KICKED.

I really liked this show when it started. I love the talent and great great music. Yet it was getting into a rut. Rayna having love problems. Dekean drinking again and losing his temper. The ex's together again and not together again. They started to rerun the same stories. I love the music and talent just wish the story could have been more original.

Loved this show until they brought homosexuality into it. There isn't a place for that in Counry music. Nashville deserves to be cancelled

Can't believe they cancelled Nashville, that had a true following. So sick of the reality shows and stupid Mark Burnett shows. Too real for you? I wonder if these execs know what they're doing. So much s$$t on anymore it's hard to get invested in anything. And 18-49 male demographic I suppose. Wouldn't think they'd be interested yet it made it 4 yrs without them. Only thing left to watch is sports and I'm female.

This is so typical of ABC. You have a decent show that a great many people like, with a great storyline and great music created by multi-talented musicians. If the current screen writers are not creative enough then find fresh writers. Introduce new characters to diversify the storyline. End storylines that are stale. You don't have to cancel the show. Keeping a show fresh and interesting takes work and creative people.
