A sci-fi drama following an unlikely trio who set out to save the world after 15 years of darkness.
15 years ago, the world's power shut off. Computers, phones, lights, cars, airplanes - everything suddenly went black without explanation.
Fast forward to present day, where a strong-willed young woman named Charlie, along with her uncle and a rogue band of survivors, set out to rescue her brother, overthrow the militia, and re-establish the United States of America.
Along the way, they explore the mystery of why the power failed, and if it will ever return.

I love revolution. I love that each show has an amazing cliffhanger. It's like lost without worrying about blinking or you'll miss something important. I loved Terra Nova and I don't understand why it was cancelled.

Let me explain. The problem in the show is not a lack of power, the problem is the power no longer works. I'm assuming that someone was testing something that would have this effect in a limited area, but it worked too well. But that is just a guess.
I like the show so far, and I hope it continues. Not to mention that Charlie is a HOTTIE! lol

I will give this show a chance, but I was kind of disappointed in the premier. I loved Terra Nova probably because Stephen Lang was the head of the Terra Nova and was expecting this show to have the same kind of strong characters on Terra Nova. However, if the daughter in Revolution will be the lead character, I won't continue to watch it. She's already made stupid decisions. I'd rather see the uncle in charge.

If you thought Terra Nova had huge plot holes and unlikeable characters, Revolution matches that and more. What happened to Solar,Wind,and Geothermal power? What happened to batteries and backup generators. I could go on but you get my drift. This show won't last two months.
