A procedural drama following a man who uses his unique gift to help others recover what they've lost.
Walter is a war veteran who has a reputation as being adept at tracking down insurgents, deserters, and improvised explosive devices. Unfortunately, Walter found one device a little too late, causing him to injured so badly that he lapsed into a coma for two months from the brain damage he incurred.
When Walter woke from his coma, he was honorably discharged and returned home. With his life is now dramatically different than before his accident, he discovers that his brain damage has transformed him from someone skilled at recovering things into something extraordinary: a Finder.

My husband and I watch a lot of TV...we have two little ones and it is a nice way to relax at the end of our day. We couldn't wait to watch the Finder every week. I always joke that Friday's is where TV shows go to die and I was very disappointed to see the Finder go to Friday night and then get canceled. It is such a unique show and we loved everything about it, especially the quirky humor. I hope another network may consider picking it up because the execs and FOX must be crazy!!!

I am 62 and have given up on "regular" TV for years and just stopped being interested in anything outthere. I am too old fashioned to watch cable shows that show soft porn, lewdness, cussing, or inappropriate situations that prevent you from watching them with your grandkid. The "The Finder" comes along - a show that forces you to watch with full attention from the start, keeps a great pace, has quirkly humor and good nature kidding amoungst the cast, very little violence, beautiful sets and just a nice show. I was surprised when Walter killed the people in the last episode - he doesn't usually revert to that type of behavior (but if you know the show, you know why he went off like that). I feel sorry for people trying to watch TV today - especially when they take good shows off and replace them with "reality shows" that all have the same format and plot. Boy, you have just lost another viewer to anything FOX. I am going to dig back through my VHS tapes to find something from the past. No wonder Charlie Brown always said "good grief". My Wife and I LOVED this show, Never missed an episode and couldn't wait for the next one!
Fox couldn't be more wrong about this decision, We have a few choice words about how we feel about the FOX network!

the finder was one of my faavorite shows, if no the favorite, I am very sad that Fox had canceled the amazing show. :(

I loved this show! It was so different. Can't believe Fox cancelled it. Is there any recourse to get Fox to reconsider?

Once again, I am proven correct. People Are STUPID! Reality TV has ruined TV for the intelligent viewer. The American viewing public is not capable of appreciating a well crafted series. I've started watching British TV because American tv has hit rock bottom.

So many of us are MORE then upset.. This show had a great cast, great cinematography, fun and even wild scripting and uniqueness..All and all a developing fan base that was and is extremely loyal.. Very disgusted at this decision.. but then again, it is FOx

I don't know who made the decision to cancel The Finder, but they made a stupid one. It was one of the best shows on Fox along with Bones. My husband and I have been really upset over their decision. They have to keep the crap that should be taken off,and take off the real shows. Besides I really want to know what happens to Willa, and my husband and I will not know, Fox you screwed up bring The Finder Back! Give the show a chance.
