A procedural drama following a man who uses his unique gift to help others recover what they've lost.
Walter is a war veteran who has a reputation as being adept at tracking down insurgents, deserters, and improvised explosive devices. Unfortunately, Walter found one device a little too late, causing him to injured so badly that he lapsed into a coma for two months from the brain damage he incurred.
When Walter woke from his coma, he was honorably discharged and returned home. With his life is now dramatically different than before his accident, he discovers that his brain damage has transformed him from someone skilled at recovering things into something extraordinary: a Finder.

I can't believe they canceled FINDER!!!!! I am pissed they had such a great cast and fun and plotfull storylines!!! Booooooooo on you fox!!!! Bones and the Finder are the best shows you have in that damn network that isn't animated!! That's so embarrassing!!! I'm diss appointed in you FOX NETWORK!!!

People in FOX management are like many polititian. They want the power....but in a sane world....they are last ones the public should give it to.
The Finder was a "fun" show...and as usual FOX wants to renew shows relating to deviant behavior, while stopping shows like Finder and Firefly.

I can't believe it ! Fox what is your problem ! AGree with everyone that USA need to pick up at least they know when they have a great show.. I love the concept and the characters of the show.. really disappointed.

A few years back, I decided it just wasn't worth getting emotionally invested in any program on FOX until it was renewed and in reruns. This year, because of Bones, I got suckered into falling in love with the The Finder, my favorite show since Firefly! And that moment of weakness led me to watch and become instantly hooked on Terra Nova.
What a fool I have been to put my trust in FOX again. My three favorite shows in the history of television have all ended with a cliffhanger after one season.

I agree with Wayno! American Idol, Survivor, really? I dvr the shows I watch. Bones and Finder are the only Fox Series I watched. Finder was a refreshing change
from "reality" poop and cop drama shows. I don't watch much tv. Now I'll watch less. Can we say tunnel vision!

Great show, why is this cancelled while crap like American Idol, "So you think anyone cares if you can dance", Hells kitchen.... oh yeah it is just a kitchen, who cares", Survivor (popularity contest/backstabbing 101), and all the other reality drivel is still on the air. Oh yeah, because the networks can produce the shows for a few thousand dollars and the "sheeple" and even if only a few idiots watch it the show will still make money.

i loved this show. it gave me a reason to watch tv.i love this show. i wanted to see what would happen to walter after he got arrested at the end of the season. but not it was cancelled some reality show can be created that nobody is going to watch. Which sucks but it would cool if the USA network would pick this show up for a second season.
