A drama following a surgeon who moonlights as a doctor to the mafia.
Grace Devlin is a talented resident at a Chicago hospital. But thanks to her brother's dealings with the mob, she is caught between two worlds - furthering her promising career and being forced to repay the family debt by helping the mafia men she despises.

I think this show is really good it would be a shame if they cancelled it,Far better than the tediously boring Boardwalk Empire which would of been well lashed off the screens if it wasn't for Scorcese name in credits.

I'm not sure what show the people above me watched but the only shame is that this made it to television at all. We could barely stomach the entire first episode.
Episode 2 sat on our PVR hard drive for nearly an entire week while we all avoided watching it like the plague.
We all had a good laugh when we finally agreed to delete the episode, delete the timer from the PVR events list and never speak of the utter failure that was The Mob Doctor.
Jordana Spiro is terrible. One minute she's terrified, "Oh no it's the mob!" The next scene she struts around like she owns the place and nothing could phase her.
This show could possibly be watchable on cable, IF they recast the main character and IF they got writers that could write dialogue like an actual criminal would speak. However, on network TV with the restrictions it has censor-wise; terrible.
Put it in a hole in the desert where it belongs.
