A drama following a young, emotionally challenged boy who only communicates through numbers.
Martin Bohm is a single father who struggles to communicate with his autistic 11-year-old son, Jake. Martin has tried everything to connect with his son, but Jake does not speak or show emotion. He also will not allow anybody, including his father, to touch him.
When Martin meets a professor who specializes in children with special gifts, he comes to realize that Jake possesses the ability to perceive hidden patterns that connect every life on the planet. Martin must now make sense of these patterns in order to help people across the world.

Agree with Barbara. Kiefer destroyed 24 for me with all his whispering. It's the most annoying thing about Touch, too. Apart from that, I think Touch is an OK show. It would be an awasome show if Kiefer would speak up. I hope the second season will pick up the conspiracy-thread and not succumb to being a Lone Ranger-type of show where Martin Bohm and Son travel the USA and help random people.

Very well written show. It is a great show. You have to try and not miss a show. You have to really watch and not miss anything. It is well worth it to watch until the end of the show. It is awesome how it affects so many people.

LOVE LOVE this show. Keeps you interested with all the lives it intertwines throighout the series. Please dont cancel and replace with anymore stupid reality shows. I am SICK to death of reality shows. Does anybody read these comments that matter because i keep seeing the same thing repeated over and over. WE ARE TIRED OF (UN)REALITY TV CRAP.

This is simply an amazing show..kudos to the writers and actors..Touch and Awake, two great shows of today, makes you use your mind and not just for the sake of "watching" Great job, can't wait for next season!!!

Please don't cancel AWAKE..it is the most refreshing show to have hit tv in years..along with TOUCH. Medium was a good show too. Why is it all the shows I like get cancelled but rubbish like soap operas sticks around for twenty years or more!

I would have to say that Touch (on Fox) and Awake (on NBC) were the best shows on television. However, because our society consist of a bunch of BUFFOONS, Awake was cancelled and I have no doubt that Touch will follow.
I really hate to say that, but the only thing that survives for multiple seasons anymore is reality TV. How much of an OXYMORON is it to call those shows REALITY TV? WOW!

I like the show and the concept but I can't stand Keifer's character or the CPS part of the show. Ick, I spit them both out of my mouth. Man your character up Sutherland!
