The Kiefer Sutherland drama will not return.
May 9, 2013
Fox has cancelled Touch after two seasons. The sophomore drama had been considered a bubble series for the bulk of its run, failing to draw significant numbers in the ratings.
The Touch series finale airs tomorrow night, May 10, 2013.

this show was AMAZING & SO TRUE IN SO MANY WAYS.. Too bad more people didn't "connect" into this fantastic show !! maybe needed more publicity?? because there are MANY more people out there that would watch this if they knew of it ... something to think about...

PS, lol....Touch was brililantly written and acted, unique and very emotoinally compelling, week after week. It was NOT too complicated, just more interestingly complex than the hyper-stupid faire that seems to thrive in the ratings...like Hawaii-Five-0, anyone? Even H5O could be so much fun, with its fabulous setting and the always scene-stealing Scotty Cahn sharpening up the cast, but the dialog is SO moronic that it's nearly unwatchable. Why the writers feel the need to have the characters pedanticly SAY every single plot point that has just been SHOWN through every episode I can't quite figure out. I mean, how stupid do they believe viewers are?

I was SO BUMMED to learn that Fox canceled Touch!!! Holy Crap, Batman...why, as another viewer noted, do the smart shows get canceled, and the absolute drivel prgrams remain year after year? For example, I've tried twice to watch the mutch-lauded Modern Family, just to be shocked by the unpleasant, mainly unattractive, hyper-cliched charachters. Unline The new Normal, which was smart, moving and very funny. Fox, you really deprived us of good televisoin when you canceled Touch; shame on you.

Touch was a series that I had looked forward to watching every week. I watched the episodes over and over and over many times and came away with "more" every time!
The show demonstrated the tenderness and love that Martin showed for his special son, Jake, that melted my heart every week. I marveled at the way the writing intertwined human stories that were so amazing, teaching us that "everything happens for a reason" and "no man is an island". And yet the action and mystery was omnipresent also. WHY? Stupid move, FOX!

Anything that requires brains to watch always ends up being cancelled. Sitcoms seem to always do well, because they do not require thought to watch. Unfortunately this is America and shows how simple minded the American public truly is.

this sucks, fox like CBS sure do know how to screw things up. they take 24 off the hour and put Touch on and just as soon as you get to enjoying or liking the new show they axe it. I guess I'll be like the other person that posted earlier quit watching the Fox network just like I did the CBS network when they took off my favorite soap and put on a stupid talk show just so that Julie Chan the host of The Talk who is married to a CBS official. That explains why my favorite soap got axed and put many people out of a job about 3 years ago and makes me wonder who on fox knew somebody that needed a job and axed Touch and gave somebody else that slot and time on the FOX network? Just wondering whose palm got greased.
