A drama following a multi-ethnic family with a mix of foster and biological children being raised by two mothers.
Lena and Stef are an interracial married lesbian couple who are raising Stef's biological son from a previous marriage along with adoptive twins.
When Lena meets troubled teen Callie, the family welcomes her into their home, not knowing that their lives will be disrupted in unexpected ways.

I LOVE THIS SHOW SO MUCH!!!!!!!!! <3 I HAVE BEEN WAITING SINCE EPISODE 1 FOR BRANDON AND CALLIE TO KISS. I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT BRANDON WAS GOING TO KISS CALLIE UNTIL SHE KISSED HIM FIRST ALSO I COULDN'T BELIEVE THAT BRANDON STARTED DATING HIS EX GIRLFRIEND THEN ON HIS MOM'S WEDDING DAY HIM AND CALLIE KISSED!!!!!!!!!! I WANT A SEASON 2 AND FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENS LATER I CAN'T WAIT ANYMORE!!!!!! SO PLEASE I'M BEGGING FOR YOU'S TO MAKE A SEASON 2. It's like you think what is going to happen because they make it out there to where you know what is going to happen but then you wait there to see if you were right about what is going to happen next then you find out you were wrong
