I've liked The Tomorrow People. Although it claims to be based on the ancient 70's childrens' TV series, I suspect the title was used as a cover for basing the series on the movie 'Jumper'. As far as my fading memory recalls, the homo superior TP only had telepathy, and 'jaunting' was a technological feat performed by TIM via a special belt, while the wearer stood (rather camp) with hands on hips. I don't remember the original TP as being 'renegades'. I recall them as being the good guys with superior morality and intellect, solving problems intelligently and without violence. Their enemies were the enemies of humanity, not a sinister organization.
So, I watch the new Tomorrow People as a TV series based on Jumper and enjoy it. I'd like to see a second series.

The original series by Rojer Price here in the UK didnt get much beyond a single series and I predicted that this series would shed viewers, and, true to form in the US it would be cancelled mid flow. I really really enjoy this new series, however as far as CARA is concerned where the heck does she afford to get all those lovely leather coats, every scene and its a new different one. Please tell the costume department to wise up - or maybe she has "access" to a subteranean fashion shop.

Great show, I hope it gets a 2nd season. But Procuders are out of touch with their viewers, and to compensate they tend to steer people in the direction they want them to go instead of just listening instead and creating content that their viewers really want. People are stuck with watching what's left over. However, The Tomorrow People is one of the few good shows that is worth watching and worth a 2nd season

I definitely think you should give the tomorrow people a second season. Mainly because every episode you could alway's look forward to meeting a new character who had these special powers that they talk about on the show and I that's why I think you should renew this show for a second season in my opnion.

It appears that I will continually be both distressed and perplexed by the average American's lack of both imagination and cognitive powers. Consistently, the masses choose the so-called, "Reality Shows" over anything which possesses even a bit of flair of dramatic imagination or tasteful and sophisticated productive execution. It is mind boggling that The Simpsons, The Cleveland so-and-so, and other similar products of distressingly tasteless quality can garner over twenty seasons of renewals, and/or those insultingly, repetitive "Talent Shows" which incessantly churn out the same doleful, pseudo-talent portrayals week after week, to an audience which doubtfully could ever produce the slightest "spike" on an electroencephalogram. For this reason, I NEVER watch television anymore. If I like a program, I watch it on my laptop.....there is rarely an offering worth staying up for. The television executives have abandoned any and all attempts at offering quality productions. This is not to imply that the Tomorrow People is Emmey material, it is merely to suggest that it is infinitely preferable to the standard litany of garbage which is offered by default. I hope the Networks go bankrupt......
