A sci-fi drama based on the Stephen King novel of the same name.
In the near future, the residents of Chester's Mill find themselves cut off from the rest of the world when a mysterious, impenetrable barrier surrounds their town. While panic fills the streets, a small group of people attempt to maintain order and uncover the truth behind the phenomenon - including how to escape from it.

Tried to get into the show as I love Sci-Fi, but could not really get to care about the characters. A lot of young characters ARE interesting, but the ones in this show .. well they seem typical and dull.

Wow. Just reading some of the "hate mail"... Really, people!? I like the show, but it IS different from the book. But Stephen is involved with the show, so I'm looking forward to how they're taking it. Thx to Jack for the info.

I am so glad that all of you that don't like the show, can do better. Because obviously all you must have acting under your belt or you wouldn't judge. If you don't like the show turn your channel to Honey BOO BOO, now that's acting. NOT!!!!

Love this show as does my highly intelligent daughter & son_in_law! Didn't read book yet but kudos to Steven king for another winner!!

I'm glad the show got a renewal. Ms A is right no need to use insulting and bashing words to express yourself for not liking a show. Not everybody is into comedy, romance or something else shows. Many people like action, SF shows.
What disturbs me the most is, that when they decide to cancel a show, for whatever reason, they don't give it a proper ending

Ms A - I agree, Bob's opinion isn't the only valid one in the world. I don't care much for the program myself but I'm sure there are some people that like it's entertainment value since it hasn't been cancelled. If you like Under the Dome, then more power to you. If you don't, I agree with you, but let's be civil about it.

Show is crap, plain and simple! Those who like it... more power to you, takes all kinds in this world. Some people love crap, others can live without it.
