A drama following a world-renowned neuroscientist struggling with her own mental illness.
Catherine Black is a well-known neuroscientist who secretly struggles with bipolar disorder. The only other person who knows about her illness is her psychiatrist, who was at Catherine's side after her first break and acts as her maternal figure since her mother committed suicide after struggling with the same disease.
Catherine, along with her staff at The Cube, work to diagnose and treat challenging cases of patients with rare conditions.

Our 20 year old daughter was recently diagnosed with bipolar and continues her struggle. This show has been amazing for me and my wife as we learn more and more about this devastating and crippling disease... and the potential for a normal life. We tell our friends and family to watch to get a glimpse into our world. This show is very educational and close to our hearts. Kelly Reilly is fantastic and perfectly portrays this disease at its worst and best. An emotional roller coaster that we are actually living in real life. We love it and look forward to another season.

Black Box is an intelligent, intriguing, fast paced program. The writers, director and cast are top drawer. Please renew this educational and entertaining show!

Please Please DO NOT CANCEL Black Box ....it is one of the best shows on TV . I loved it from the start and the story line was very interesting and a look into the difficulties that a bi polar person faces . The acting was superb . There are some totally stupid shows like The Bachelorette which offends my intelligence but Black Box is informational and intelligent !! Kelly Reilly fit the part very well and all the other actors were also very convincing !!!

This is a great show! please give it a 2nd season! I am so over shows being cancelled that I actually like and I am not much into watching t.v. So please continue with this FANTASTIC show!

Please don't cancel Block Box I have learned so much about mental illness. I believe this show has brought awareness to the public and hope for some who may struggle with mental illness.
