A drama following a medical examiner who is immortal.
Doctor Henry Morgan is a star New York medical examiner with a secret. He not only studies dead bodies to help solve criminal cases, but is also trying to get to the bottom of his unexplained immortality. It is a mystery that has eluded him for 200 years.
During his long life, Henry has gained acute observational skills which have allowed him to rise to the top of his profession. Nobody knows his secret except for his best friend and confidant, Abe.

This show has not only exceptional writing, but also truly gifted actors and very high quality guest stars and has only gotten better throughout the year. Even my highly critical family thinks so. With this caliber of story, it is a show that could easily last 10 years without getting "old". I think it's a law somewhere that all truly good show must be cancelled because it's just so much more important to have another version of CSI or to see who gets voted off the island this week!

WHAT?! They pulled the plug on Forever?! I am utterly dismayed!! This was one of the shows I would sit down and make time to watch. I hope ABC reconsiders this, Judd Hirsch and Ioan Gruffudd are spectacular talent and I am sad that ABC chose to cancel this show.

As many others have said, cancelling Forever and Resurrection in favor of idiotic shows like Galavant just convinced me to stop watching this clearly braindead network. GET A CLUE! Truly hoping another

FINALLY somebody puts on a TV show I can sit down and watch with my family...well I could until ABC cancelled it. What is wrong with TV execs? Do they not understand there's a whole lot of different people who watch TV? Not just the 18-35 year old male who's obsessed with a constant barrage of sex jokes and snarky racial humor? PLEASE give this show another chance!! I want to see more of FOREVER!

This was a great show. I've always had a thing for stories with gentlemen from another time (period pieces or something like Forever with immortality) and Henry certainly is a gentleman.
I was talking to my dad and he read somewhere that Forever was the highest rated new show in New Zealand this year or something like that. Maybe someone with more intelligence than the ABC execs will realize what a great show Forever is and resurrect it - pun intended ;)
