A drama following staff who work the night shift in a hospital Emergency Room.

TC Callahan is a war veteran and adrenaline junkie who works the night shift at San Antonio Memorial Hospital. He and his irreverent team of doctors know how to get their jobs done when times call for it, but they also know how to let off a little steam with a prank here and there.

Rounding out the night shift are TC's co-workers. His ex-girlfriend Jordan is the new night shift boss who struggles to keep everybody in line. Paul is just out of medical school and getting up to speed on life in the ER. Krista is an intern with something to prove, and Kenny is a veteran nurse who keeps the staff focused.

After being a medic in the last two centuries and four decades, an Emergency MD leaving the hospital grounds is laughable at best, a horrid level lawsuit in the United States at the most likely event. An MD that leaves the ED puts patients and himself at risk.
Someone that has a life threatening event is denied the Doctor's skill and wisdom. If the MD is out on "a call" he is caring for one- perhaps two- patients. If he is in the ED, (Or ER in some other areas.) they can care for ten-times that many people that need attention.
I will not watch this show, when I do, people get mad as I pick it apart.
Not to mention helicopter? He is too large to go on the air-unit. Maximum weight and height are exceeded by our hero for most birds.

This is almost like a parody of Grey's Anatomy. We enjoy watching it, but some of the "dramatic" scenes are a little comical.
