A drama following an exiled man who returns to his homeland with his American family.
Bassam "Barry" Al Fayeed has been living in Los Angeles for 20 years since self-exiling from his war-torn Middle Eastern country, where his father is its dictator.
When his nephew plans to get married, Barry returns to his homeland with his American family, but his arrival triggers a culture clash and forces him to deal with the familial and national politics he once left behind.

Tyrant! Tyrant! Tyrant! Great show with very talented cast. Storyline very realistic. Please renew the series. Loved the show.

Still debating whether or not I think it should be renewed or cancelled. I mean, the episodes got kind of boring after that hot lady that Jamal was having an affair with died, but I think there are too many questions after the rebellion failed. I really don't mind if Barry dies, because he would be a really weird leader.

I got hooked the minute I watched the first episode of Tyrant, so did my husband. Now, out of the blue, without warning, the TV series disappears from schedule. I tried desperately to get in touch with FX Canada (no phone number, no email address) What customer service! I made more research and finally came upon your website and it somehow gave me hope that perhaps Tyrant won't be cancelled (yet). Let's keep our fingers crossed. DonnaV said it all; took the words right out of my mouth. Will keep checking on ismyshowcancelled.com for the latest about Tyrant (since FX Canada or Rogers do not have enough respect for their viewers to keep them informed properly (it would be nice to have a phone number or email address to direct customer queries). Meanwhile, let's hope Tyrant is renewed.

Please, please, please renew. It's a really good show that aired when most people were on vacation. Betcha if FX runs the first season again, it will find a bigger audience. The same thing happened to Northern Exposure. Look how long it ran after it found its audience.

Tyrant is a fantastic show, made very believable, with such an excellent casting and storyline. The viewers deserve to have this quality show renewed.

it is my all time favorite show. Better than Revenge, Scandal, & all the others.
