A comedy following a middle-aged man's pursuit of a happiness that seems to elude him.
Thom Payne is a 44 year-old man whose world is turned upside down when his young new boss arrives and starts using terms like "digital" and "social". On top of that, he suspects his ED pills are interfering with his anti-depressants.
Thom is struggling to figure out what his purpose in life is now that he's getting on in years and nobody cares what he thinks. Is his pursuit of happiness just wishful thinking? Maybe happyish is the best he can expect.

Well done Holly! Your are exactly the reason this wonderful show was cancelled. You completely missed the point! This show went over alot of peoples head - you do require a level of intelligence to be able to get the show. Too many are dumb and will nevr underswtand. Steve Coogan is a genuis. The world is only going to get more retarded with your stupid unwarranted comments. Dont comment if you cant understand, backwards c**ts!

2 grown people acting like spoiled belligerent teens fighting back at people for no reason. They seemed to hate everyone, their own parents, neighbors, co-workers, you name it. And the 'mom' had to have her own separate studio instead of a room in the house? Geez! They should have called it 2 spoiled rotten brats who don't deserve all they had!
