A mystery drama following a Secret Service agent investigating the disappearance of two federal agents.
Top Secret Service Agent Ethan Burke comes to the town of Wayward Pines in Idaho, searching for two missing federal agents but everything changes when a truck slams into his car. After waking up in the hospital, Ethan soon realizes there is something very wrong with Wayward Pines.
Ethan's wife and son arrive to be by his side, and they soon learn key information about the town's origins. But Ethan's continuing investigation only turns up more questions than answers.

When a show is advertised as a mini series people are interested so the show gets great ratings. They then decide to continue the show and it flops. The storyline was made for a limited amount of episodes and should have stayed that way. When I saw this was to be renewed I didn't even bother.

This show started back with many new characters and left me ????, where are the main characters, where is their storyline and why did we skip to the unknown?

holy crap that season 2 première was awful. The whole premise of season 1 was we had no idea of the year, the situation and evolution. Now it is season 2 and we know even if the new character does not and that is a dull an experience as I have ever felt watching a show. I kept saying how terrible it was.

I'm very happy that FOX is bring back Wayward Pines! I love this show and they need more like it on all the channels! I'm so sick of reality shows... I could care less who gets the bachelor in the end or who will win the cook-off! These evening game shows & reality shows need to go! Is that really the mentality of Americans today? That's scary! At least the suspenseful type shows make you think instead of that other mindless dribble!

First they said it was a one off!. So I took it off my dvr. But I am glad it's coming back!. It was interesting and well done. JUST Like the best shows on scy fy channel. So this is good news, considering the cancellations of 'under the dome', 'the whispers' and 'extant'

Bummer, me and my mother loved this show...it was one show we could watch and text each other during and after (next day, etc). We really thought they would extend this show even though it was originally going to be a miniseries...they teased us with the reports of it possibly getting a second season because of the ratings.

The books that this show was based on are great... Thought they would develop it more .. Book WAS better though.
