A mystery drama following a Secret Service agent investigating the disappearance of two federal agents.
Top Secret Service Agent Ethan Burke comes to the town of Wayward Pines in Idaho, searching for two missing federal agents but everything changes when a truck slams into his car. After waking up in the hospital, Ethan soon realizes there is something very wrong with Wayward Pines.
Ethan's wife and son arrive to be by his side, and they soon learn key information about the town's origins. But Ethan's continuing investigation only turns up more questions than answers.

When Fox was advertising the show, they said it was a limited series. So, no, this show was not cancelled. Only one season then done.

According to Wikipedia, the show is based on a three book series. The first five episodes were based on the first book. I'm not going lose hope for another mini-season or maybe a tv movie. Fox brought back X-Files after 10 years, closure will come.

I love this show. It keeps you in suspense and it just keeps getting better. The story is good and has so many twists. I heard it was cancelled which I really hope isn't true because I just watched the season finale and I have so many unanswered questions. If it is cancelled maybe Netflix will pick it up like it did The Killing. Which was another show I could not believe was cancelled.

Really good twist this past Thursday. You know in real life "the chosen" survivors would be the super rich like in the movie 2012.
