I've said it before..but I mean it this time!! I will never ever start another new show on ABC!! This was a great show that kept me on the edge of my seat every week! I loved it every bit as much as Scandal and How to Get Away With Murder! Nothing is as good as Grey's Anatomy, but this was close!! To end it with one of the best cliff hangers ever is unforgivable!! You could, at the very least, make a T.V. movie to give all the viewers who loved this show the satisfaction of knowing how it all ends!! Shame on you ABC!!!

ABC (Already Been Cancelled) has done it again! I swore I would not watch another show on this channel after Black Box, and many others to numerous to name, got trashed, but I took a chance on this one and The Catch (which I'm sure is next). I figured with Joan Allen, Andrew McCarthy & the rest of a great cast that it would make the cut. Forget the great synopsis, and intelligent writing, with unusual twists. We viewers apparently can only handle reality TV crap.
Mainly because it's cheaper to make a show like that, than to put together a quaility show like The Family. ABC Morons, DONT CANCEL THIS SHOW!

There arent many shows that make me care about them. The Family was really addictive. It made you think and look forward to the next show. The finale was fabulous with unexpected twists and turns. I was psyched for next season only to get the unbelievable news that it was cancelled. I think you're nuts. This show had great potential. All u did is left us hanging.

This was the BEST drama I've seen in YEARS!!! Could not turn it off. Every episode had a twist NO ONE saw coming. I suppose that's why it had to be cancelled. Can't have people not mesmerized by some stupid unrealistic 'reality' show.
To whoever wrote this and all the actors, SALUTE! It was nice to experience competent, stimulating theatrical entertainment after all these years. Now, I go back to watching British shows. Can't hardly understand them, but they are well written and acted. America only puts out G's and Hoes and ghetto, ALL OVERACTED!

Please don't canceled this show, I just watched the last episode and I need to know what happens with the real son!!

This was a great show lots of depth and storyline. I see a few people though the acting was bad and boring. Not at all in my opinion I was always entertained and the show always had a cliffhanger at the end of each episode. I ended up having friends come over on Sundays to watch it. The finale was amazing I hope the show gets picked up by another network you can't just leave on a major cliffhanger like that omg! I'm so sick of all these reality crap shows, some people just have no brains anymore or patience to watch an actual story line. It's a shame

Loved this show!! I am so tired of ABC canceling good shows that I refuse to watch any mores new series. You get invested only to have them pull the plug. Enough.

I cannot believe this show was cancelled. I loved the story line and the characters.
It sucks that we can't get an ending. Why do networks allow us to spend hours of our time investing in a show just to leave us hanging on the cliffhanger. If a show is getting cancelled, I think the viewers are at least entitled to closure. Watching the finale of this one I am pi**ed that I will never know how it ends!

I just watched what is now the series finale, and I gotta say, I'm annoyed that the show was cancelled! I didn't expect the cliffhangers it had and I wanted to see what would happen next season, then I remembered that it had been cancelled :(. I know some shows have a short lifespan and should have been tv movies/miniseries, but even though this show's plot implied a short life span imo, the writers really did have enough subtle and significant plot twists and character development that it was worth it to keep watching past the 1st few episodes. And then they put in the cliffhangers that definitely could have made the show last a bit longer. It should not have been cancelled, yet! They should have given it at least an additional half season.
