Eddie and his wife Sarah are members of a religious sect based in upstate New York known as The Meyerism Movement. The couple face a crossroads in their marriage when Eddie struggles with doubts about the faith, causing a strain in their relationship.

While the founder of the movement is away, interim leader Cal looks to take the Meyerists out from the shadows and into the spotlight.
