A drama following a star magician who uses his skills of illusion to the assist the FBI.
Superstar magician Cameron Black is a master of illusion whose career ends up ruined because of a scandal. In order to keep practicing his art of deception and influence, he offers his services to the FBI as an unconventional way to help the government catch some of the world's most-elusive criminals.

Deception was a great show, I made sure to set the timer on our televisions so we wouldn't miss it on a Sunday night.. It was most intriguing, had you on the edge of your seat..I'm soo disappointed. Just as it was getting more exciting you pull the plug...Please bring it back!!!

can't believe it's canceled. the series finale was terrible. At least the ending should have been satisfying but it certainly wasn't, it was disappointing.

I don't see my last note still posted. This is still the best show on TV and the one I look most forward to. Won't abc consider renewing it? I can't remember being more thrilled or into a show for quite some time!

I would say that it took a couple of Shows to get me interested, BUT, at least, the show was original. Once I watched two shows I was hooked. Now I don’t miss it. It’s quirky, but that’s part of the reason that I like it. Most shows are rip offs of another like Station 19 ripping off Chicago Fire, which was a great show that’s doing well. But do we need two. Well Deception came up with an original idea. I don’t get it. Any original show the networks rip off the network ASAP.
Happens every time. I almost hate to invest time in a show until I know it going to be renewed. I guess I’ll do what a lot of my family and friends do. Wait until a good show makes it for several years and then binge watch it another way. It doesn’t help the ratings, but the networks don’t care anyway.

It's getting to the point where I hate to start enjoying a show and look forward to seeing it. Every time I do, some Network nitwit cancels it! Yeah, it got silly at times, but sometimes at night I just like to put my brain on coast and enjoy the ride. Deception was one of those shows.

That show was sooooo good!!! Finally something that kind of was like a combination of the mentalist and castle. I missed seeing a show with that kind of chemistry on tv! They aired it in such strange times. They never really gave it a chance.

I agree with Tonya. This is a great show. I had quit watching ABC shows because they either insulted my intelligence or were offensive. But Deception was different and I decided to give ABC another chance.This show had a great twist to it. You need to renew it and give it a real chance with a full season or it is back to the cable networks for me!!
