Will be interesting to watch. I've been to Lincoln County, seen the jail, read several first-hand accounts in the library & other places. The preview suggests they're going to humanize him, and there is a little truth to that. Hopefully they won't glorify him, which is totally wrong. BTW, Pat Garrett was no saint, but he believed in justice & mercy. It's impossible to do 100% accuracy from history to TV; I just hope they don't twist history too much.

Yeah he was a murderer for sure. A documentary I saw a few years ago had some sympathetic parts but it didn't glorify either like some of the Billy the Kid portrayals.

Supposedly I'm related to him as per Ancestry's "We're related" app. I never researched it so I don't know for sure but it is absolutely 100% entirely possible because.... genealogy.
I will check this out. I just hope it's not too "fake". I like shows about history to actually contain history., unlike shows like "Turn" which was mostly fiction so I only watched a few episodes.

Billy was a teenager during the Lincoln County War. He was not a gunslinger, but a murderer. And as ugly as the murders he did. NOT a hero. Surprised that commiewood did not make him a gay girl.
