Beneath the crimson mesas of Texas Hill Country lies Ransom Canyon, where three ranching family dynasties are locked in a contest for control of the land. Their lives and legacies are being threatened by outside forces intent on destroying their way of life.
Staten Kirkland is a stoic rancher who is healing from heartbreaking loss and on a quest for vengeance. His only glimmer of hope rests in the eyes and heart of Quinn O'Grady, longtime family friend and owner of the local dancehall. As the battle to save Ransom wages on, a mysterious cowboy appears in town, dredging up secrets from the past.

I love this show! Could do without the cussing but for some reason every new show that comes out thinks it needs to use GD. No respect.

The cast is good, fairly good/big stars.
For me, there are a few too many characters for me to remember who's who. Tow of the boys look the same to me, Reid Collins and Tim O'Grady. Staten Kirkland is just too angry & bitter at everything and everybody; generally unlikeable. Davis Collins is slimy and jealous. Quinn O'Grady needs to move on from both of them.
I'm only on S1Eps 1-3 and can't wait for E3 to end as I'm likely not to return. Average rating from me for now.
