I am huge Star Trek fan. But this series was boring fme. It was more about relationships. I’m old fashion. There is a mission, team realizing they are in trouble, and they managed to get out of it.

Apparently, people do not know what Star Trek is. It has always been a place of acceptance and diversity. Star Trek is a series where all mankind is united as one and strive to be the better person. If you did not see that, you must of been watching a different series. This is Star Trek and it was good. I'm a long time fan of Star Trek. I will watch the second season and hopefully, another show will be made but it looks like we just might get another Star Trek show for a while.

Im an old broken down ( physically) veteran and with st, diversity has always been a st staple, the story line had potential, but thanks to a lot of woke v anti woke entitled idiots, Kawhi Leonard, rajon rondo, vinny lecavalier, jimmy butler , jose bautista,Kawhi Leonard,a-rod john stockton, drew Brees, brett favre, john elway and Peyton manning sucked there rookie years , and all of you film/tv experts dismiss the series after one season, i always thought i could rely on the science/ sci-fi geeks( me included) to be decent human beings, and sadly, my faith waivers, be better people.

It is not really star trek. The woke bunch of comments??? seriously??? Roddenberry was all about diversity, its now 2026 not 1966 and not being censored to keep themes out. The show is horrible like Discovery. They are also trying to air 2 very different time frames in 2 different series . The concept of Discovery and Academy as a series are strong but Academy should take place in Strange New Worlds time or TNG time or even something in between to develop characters we are more familiar with. reinventing the Acadey with unknowns and weak story lines and too much character to character intimacy is more or less my issue. its fine having gay and straight diversity but there is too much following of love lives and not so much action or training going on, needs to be more like an academy and less like a daytime soap opera.

I can't believe how many comments are about being "woke". Since TOS, Starfleet has always been about being "woke". These themes couldn't always conveyed the way they are now because the audience was still too close-minded in the early years. I'm ashamed at how many people in this day and age prefer to be "Sleep".

The main charactor is annoying, she can not act and is as wooden as a gate, utter rubbish with CGI making up for weak stories, woke story lines and poor all round acting. Worst Star Trek series ever, please stop.

I'm 58 years old, I've seen all the Star Trek Films and series, but since WOKE was in, they have a series that is normally fun, which is really completely ruined, why does WOKE have to watch the series, if you want people to stop with that WOKE nonsense, hope that there is no season 2 comes

I'm guessing Star Fleet tossed their physical standards
