18 to Life canceled... in the US

The Canadian sitcom has been taken off the air in the States.

The CW has taken Canadian sitcom 18 to Life off its schedule just three weeks into the show's run, effectively canceling the show's run in the US. While the show was performing poorly in the ratings for The CW, it has already been renewed for a second season in its native country, where it airs on CBC.

Six episodes of the show remain unaired stateside. In its place, The CW will air repeats of Life Unexpected which is set to return to Tuesdays at 9:00pm effective immediately.
