The rookie cop drama will not air a second season.

CBS has cancelled NYC 22 after only airing four episodes of the freshman cop drama. While the series will likely air all of its scheduled episodes through July, it will not return for the 2012-2013 season. The show joins Unforgettable, A Gifted Man, and CSI: Miami in the list of dramas that were not picked up by the network for next season.

I am a 14 year old in this show kelp me from hanging around the wrong crewed. I love this show my question is WHY.PLEASE WHY.

I have to agree with the comments about reality TV idiots, maybe reality show TV producers?? Shows like Harry's Law, and NYC22 were interesting and we loved them. Why do they get cancelled? I was hooked on both from the first show and now.. No wonder so many of us cancel our cable subscriptions.

I loved this show. It wa no Hill Street Blues or NYPD Blue but it was a good show. It is a shame it had to be cancelled.

Can't you people let a new show stay on long enough to get a following? First, I lose Harry's Law and now, NYC22, both great shows with good actors and compelling characters and situations.

You people in charge, get a clue! Stop baiting us with good shows and then jerking it off the air without preamble! Geesch, already!

thx america .. keep making more reality TV crap .. its the best thing ever .. keep making the american audience mindless shoppers,and drama queens .
yet another fail .. eh it was a good show .. so .. by american standards .. it has to go .

The show is horrible. The plot is unrealistic and the characters are even worst.

This is a really good show with a great cast. I don't think CBS gave it a fair chance to succeed. They should seriously consider un-cancelling it as they did with Unforgetable.

Here we go again. Hawaii 50 survives and NYC 22 disappears? Hawaii a mindless piece of crap and NYC 22 a well though out well done drama dealing with real police work. Pulllleeease!
