I don't watch Game of Thrones, so I have no need to try to compare the two. Seperate shows, maybe a crossover of fan base. I will say this. The Borgias is the most incredible show that Showtime has ever aired. The fan base for this show is coming together and are screaming what an injustice has been done, to the show, and the fans. We even have a new website and a fan campaign that is constantly gaining momentum. IF you are a fan, please join us to help #SaveTheBorgias SaveTheBorgias.com

what the hell were they thinking by cancelling the Borgias. Best series on tv and not even the courtesy of finishing it off like real professionals should do.

this show was so boring, I'm really not surprised. I just feel bad for Mel Brooks, he was a fan.

Finding The Borgias Canceled is a totall tragedy, 3 seasons and then notting, outrageous. However like Karen says above, I also foung Borgias on netflix and it is way more detailed and starts about a year or two before as shown in The Borgias. They were corrupted people yes, however, the Borgia pepecy were and still is one of the best pepecys there was since st peter, lots of info about them on wiki
Borgia pope was one of the best diplomats and pliticians ever.

@fred You don't need to remind me that this show isn't a 'documentary.' It is painfully obvious that everything is dramaticized and that it contains many 'historical inaccuracies.' The actors on the show speak in British accents for goodness sake. That is another dead giveaway that this show is not a 'documentary.' That being said, while the enemies of the Borgias did spread many false rumours (incestuous relationships, etc.) about them, they were still incredibly corrupt and evil people. Maybe on a lesser scale than their enemies would have you believe, but still evil nonetheless.

Sign the Petition to save the Borgias! This is not right! They owe us a conclusion.

Now that the series has been cancelled I will cancel Showtime. I don't watch anything else they show. The only reason I kept it this long was because of The Borgias. The show is the victim of poor marketing and advertisement. Unlike GOT marketing, I didn't even know the season had started until episode 2 of season 3. Cancelling this series was a very bad move on Showtime's part especially when the finale did feel final for me. At the end, I had more questions than answers leaving the impression that this show was not over; it was just cut! Bad move.

I Looked forward to watching the Borgias every Sunday evening. They could have ended it for us. There was a lot left open. Always seems the shows I really like get cancelled. Gonna miss this one a lot. When Dexter is over I will have to cancel SHO.
