HBO has no plans to continue the acclaimed series.
January 23, 2020
It looks like we have seen the last of HBO's hit series Watchmen. Creator Damon Lindelof stated recently that he has told the story he intended to tell and has no interest in staying on with the show should it continue.
Following up on Lindelof's sentiment, the cable network's programming chief Casey Bloys said that he could not envision producing another season of the show without Lindelof's involvement. He did leave the door open for a possible future instalment should Lindelof reconsider, but at this point it appears very unlikely that will happen.
Based on the graphic novel of the same name, Watchmen takes place in an alternate contemporary reality, where superheroes are looked upon as outlaws because of their violent approach to peacekeeping. Despite being outcast, some of them gather to start a revolution while others try to stop it before it's too late.

@JJ I don't think you know what the belligerent means. There is no anger in my comment. In order for me to hate something I have to have an investment in it. Since, like you said, I don't know you, I don't so there is no hate. And you don't have to know someone to be able to read. I'm not sure where you get immature and uneducated other than you are just trying to write things you think I'll be moved by. And I think you should look in the mirror when you type something about someone before you comment. Especially the line about life experience because you are sadly mistaken. If you think being black in America is being entitled then I must be living in an alternate universe where blacks have been the overseers for all these years.
@blake I take nothing about you or your comments personal. I don't care. You're a racist. You're allowed to be. It's ok. Just that most people that aren't racist don't have to make it clear in a comment.
I was responding to more than one person without using names and that was my mistake. I never said people hate me, I was referencing the replies from you and @truth. I gave my opinion on a tv show that's it, I dont have explain my opinions to anyone nor do I attack others for there's. You and the other twit took my comments personal and felt the need to reply to them. Clearly you cant read... as I said I'm not having this discussion on this site, I don't think this the forum. Never said I was an expert and clearly neither are you. You're a troll and I dont usually feed the trolls but it's a slow day. Throwing out the term "white privilege" like it's some trump card that wins all arguments just shows how ignorant you are. Judging someone by the color of their skin, white skin included!! is the epitome of a racist and the only one doing that here is you! You are embarrassing yourself so just stop or do whatever you like with your freedom of speech. Just like I did when I stopped watching this crapy show for its lazy writing and made my initial comment. I'm done.
You're a judgemental Pr#@k. Go back to your Safe Space.
wow... just wow. No one hates you because no one knows you. If you don't like the response to your comment then you shouldn't have added a tag about not being racist. People who aren't racist don't have to add that sentence if you aren't. Who are you to say what the correct forum is to express what they want in whatever media they are using? Who made you the expert? If you don't like the way a show presents than stop watching it if you feel like it's a lecture. Freedom of choice is great you racist.
@Jimmy the pimp...Except for the shows that do. I could list a whole bunch, but what's the point you can't read anyway.
@JJ you're not a racist because you use the term racist. You're a racist probably because of how you were raised. Enjoy your white privilege you probably think doesn't exist.
