A comedy following a man who chooses to live his life strictly by the Bible.

Chip Curry is a film critic and father-to-be living in New York City. After losing one of his best friends, he vows to be a better man by living strictly in accordance with the Bible.

His expectant wife is a bit skeptical of his decision, but supports his new life choice completely. With her support and the help of a "God Squad" he forms with a Catholic Priest and an easygoing Rabbi, Chip begins his spiritual journey towards a life with more morals.

I have to disagree with KarmaRaven, I read the book and was rather disappointed in the TV adaptation. It also seemed like the cast never really gelled.

I REALLY wanted to like this show since they were attempting to do a Christian centered show that wasn’t disrespectful, but the acting, especially the wife, was just terrible, and the writing was not much better. Great idea but very poor execution.

We live by His grace, not by works (the law). Each time we screw up (and we always will, knowingly and unknowingly) He will forgive us if we ask Him to.

I'm a born-again, Spirit-filled Christian. Totally love this show. Since I really enjoy it and it's not disrespectful, I'm hoping it will not be axed.

I read the book, it was awesome. This show is just as good as the book. I was worried, but it is so good!
