The Windy City cop drama gets the axe after one season.
May 11, 2011
Fox has cancelled The Chicago Code as part of a flurry of bubble show cancellations late Tuesday. Also axed were Human Target, Lie to Me, Breaking In, and Traffic Light.
The Chicago Code - which follows the Windy City's finest as they fight crime and expose corruption - had only aired 11 of its 13 first season episodes before getting the bad news.
The two remaining Season 1 episodes are expected to air, but it is unclear at this time if the current schedule - which has airings slated for May 16 and 23 - will remain the same after the decision to cancel the show.

Yep thats why with shows cancelled people turn to downloading illegal
they never look at the BIG picture and keep great shows like The.Chicago.Code on air .... but thats right they want people to steal/download it so they can find a reason to cancel shows
well looks like I will download more if the networks dont wake up
NOT IMPRESSED

Milt Gregory,
I agree with you 100%. It is a shame Chicago Code was cancelled. My wife and I enjoyed it very much. The lady police superintendent was spectacular, the black alderman, all the police and detectives were great, what a shame.

Chicago Code was one of the best shows on TV, I believe they were cancelled due to not being as politically correct as the very liberal CBS network would like. What a shame, all the reality trash and a show with substance is sacrificed. Sad....
I hope another station or cable network will pick them up, just far to much to offer to let it go.
