ABC has renewed the entrepreneurial reality series.

ABC has renewed Shark Tank for a third season. The good news for the show comes on the day the network cancelled seven of its other series.
Shark Tank takes budding entrepreneurs and has them pitch their business ideas to wealthy businesspeople in the hope of gaining an investment from one or more of them. The show returned for a Season 2 in March, and after nine episodes airs its season finale tonight.
For the current installment, the show brought in well-known billionaire Mark Cuban as well as comedian Jeff Foxworthy to sit on the panel of sharks - or investors. No word yet on details for Season 3, but executive producer Mark Burnett has said that he might take a shot on the show next time around.
"If we get a season three, I'll personally go on it - as long as its legal," he told Entertainment Weekly. "I would not be able to know who the people were pitching. When I'm producing Shark Tank I'm kicking myself, why didn't I have a shot at these ideas."

We look forward to the show, we would be very sorry to see if ABC cancelled it. It is one of the few quality shows left. It's combination of cast and material is great.

I have several new, innovative, learning games for children and I would love to have the opportunity to be on Shark Tank. Please let me know what I need to do to have the privledge of being on the show. I love your show and hope it continues. It is the only TV show I watch!

I was told about Shark Tank a week ago because I am thinking about starting a business and what did you know , I couldn't find it on TV this past Friday . Do any one know when will it be on again ? I heard its an awesome show. Please leave a post once the return date have been confirmed. Thanks

It's the Only show I look forward to watching or recommend to others. Definitely disappointed when it did not air last night.

My husband and I don't watch very much tv BUT look forward to every Friday night to watch Shark Tank. We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!!!!! I was really panicking when I thought that it was cancelled....SO GLAD to hear that it will be on for a third season. THANK YOU ABC! :)

Shark Tank is the best thing on television. My mother and I LIVE for this show and discuss each episode long distance! This show has everything--drama, humor, emotion...love the interaction among the sharks. Can't wait for Season 3!

I look forward to the new series of Shark Tank. The creativeness of the entrepreneurs and the reality approach of the sharks is exresmely impressive. An entrepreneur in our church and I talk about the re-runs all the time. We look for this season.
