The reality series comes to a close after four years on the air.

TLC has announced that its once-big hit reality series is coming to a close. The network has cancelled Kate Plus 8 (formerly known as Jon & Kate Plus 8) after seven seasons.
Back in the show's heyday - when Jon and Kate were a couple - the series was a ratings smash for the cable network. When the couple split in 2009, causing the show to be retooled and renamed, interest waned and did not return.
"TLC has decided not to renew another season of Kate Plus 8," the network said in a statement. "By the end of this season, Kate Plus 8 will have hit the 150 episode mark (including Jon & Kate Plus 8); an exceptional milestone."
The network did add that they hope to periodically check in with Kate and her kids in the form of future specials. As it stands now, the last episode of the Kate Plus 8 as a series will air next month on September 12.

Good luck getting people behind this one. Though you make some VERY fascinating points, youre going to have to do more than bring up a few things that may be different than what weve already heard. What are trying to say here? What do you want us to think? It seems like you cant really get behind a unique thought. Anyway, thats just my opinion.

Thank God!!!!!!!!!!!! Kate get a real job and stop making money off of your kids. All she wants is fame. How do others support their large families without being on TV. Get a real job and give your kids the "normal" life that they deserve.
