NBC has picked up its Friday night drama for Season 2.
March 16, 2012
NBC has reportedly given Grimm a second season renewal. That is good news for fans of the freshman fantasy drama, given as how other new dramas on the network have not fared as well this season. Shows like The Playboy Club and Prime Suspect have already fallen by the wayside.
Grimm, however, has been pulling in solid enough ratings on Friday nights for NBC to give it a shot at another season. Its numbers have also remained rather steady over the course of its run rather than suffering from the ratings decline that many shows see as the season wears on. Grimm's average is hovering around a 1.6 in the adults 18-49 demographic, which isn't bad for a Friday night series.

I love Grimm and it has a wonderful array of characters. It's nice to have a fictional, well written show especially on friday. I am sick of "so called" reality shows and there are already enough cop shows.I surely hope that this show was not cancelled.

I was really liking Grimm but there has not been a new episode in weeks or even an ad saying if its cancelled or wth? Guess it was good while it lasted. No wonder NBC sucks so bad. That was the only thing I watched on NBC in years. No point in even checking anymore. Hopefully a better network will pick it up.

I must be one of the few who don't get it.
It's a good show, but it's always the same story. See one episode, you've seen 'em all.

I like Grimm and have been looking forward to fridays but primetime tv is so frustrating , you get really locked into a favorite show and on a Whim from producers or bad writing it gets cancelled. Sometime they regret cancellation but often times big production company's could care less what we think.
