Fox has cut the comedy for good this time.
May 10, 2012
Fox has cancelled freshman comedy I Hate My Teenage Daughter. The beleaguered show never really managed to find its footing on the network since premiering late last year, only getting to air six of its 13 planned episodes.
The network first pulled the sitcom from its schedule in March in favor of extended American Idol shows, and then went back on plans to continue airing new episodes in the Summer. I Hate My Teenage Daughter has now joined Breaking In, Alcatraz and The Finder in the recent cleaning house Fox is doing in favor of ordering a slew of new series for the 2012-2013 season.

I was and still am so sad that they cancelled this show. I really thought it was so funny. I have been trying to find the first season on DVD so I can watch it over and over again.

This show was horrible. The acting was bad and the writing....just wasn't funny.

Are the folks at FOX morons? No show can succeed the way FOX handles shows. First they killed Running Wilde by giving it ZERO advertising and constantly moving it on the schedule, and then they pull similar BS (repeatedly taking it on and off the air) with I Hate My Teenage Daughter.

how could they cancel this show? this show was an actual comedy that was funny, united all members of my family together to watch and it gets cancelled? whatever for! it was so funny, for once i thought i found a show worth watching but of course FOX can't make up its freakin mind and chose to cancel something that was great... AGAIN! they should just cancel IDOL since its gone way done hill since season 2...
