The controversial reality series to end after six seasons.

Word is out that after six seasons, love-it-or-hate-it reality series Jersey Shore will come to an end. MTV has pulled the plug on the once wildy popular show now that ratings are in decline and the cast is slowly going their own ways.
Since premiering in 2009, cameras have followed the antics of cast members Snooki, The Situation, Pauly D, JWoww and others, as they partied, roughhoused and fornicated their way through locations such as Miami, Italy, and of course, New Jersey. The show became a cultural phenomenon, bringing MTV its highest ratings ever and making many of its stars household names.
The sixth and final season of Jersey Shore will premiere on October 4, 2012.

Well, I have to admit this was good news when I found out. By the way I hate to watch the news too but the five minutes I watched of this show was horrible. I don't get why people are into these annoying reality shows. Isn't there enough drama out there in real life without you even looking for it? Oh well thanks for the cancellation.

this show SUCKS finally it was cancelled, next 16 and pregnant and teen mom needs to be cancelled because those shows are HORRIBLE too MTV used to stand for MUSIC television they should just change their name to RTV REALITY television.

I'm not big on watching tv but I do love the show and the cast all of them. I will miss them.

To everyone who hates the show u could of always changed the channel. I'm sure mtv isn't the only basic cable channel u have. We live in America we have choices, watch or don't watch. It's not gonna make or break u or the show, because they still have fans without u.

To Megs: Just forget my last comment. You just pissed me off with your "no life" comment. I really don't care to get in some verbal sparring match with you or anyone else. I will say that there are people online that leave hateful comments just for the hell of it or they're just uncaring.
