Fox has given the new comedy a full season order.

Fox announced today that nine additional episodes have been ordered for freshman comedy The Mindy Project. This brings its total up to a full season of 22 episodes.
The show has aired two episodes to-date, averaging a decent 2.2 rating among adults 18-49. It is also the #1 new comedy of the season with adults 18-34.

I Love The Mindy Project!!! So great. The ensemble works well, love to see what wacky stuff will happen and what situations Mindy gets into. I love the dynamic between Mindy and Danny, though not sure how the hook up thing will work....it sometimes makes a show awkward...And, I loooove Mindy's wardrobe. Hope it makes it to a 3rd season!

one of my least favorite shows, ever, there would be no tears if it was cancelled.

This season's crop of new shows is pretty poor. The Mindy Project offers nothing new and nothing terribly funny. FOr a sitcom, it is 100% forgettable. I'm shocked it was picked up for the full season.
