The comedy is already in talks to move to Hulu.
May 6, 2015
Reports are out tonight that Fox has cancelled The Mindy Project, opting to end the comedy after three seasons. The news was somewhat expected, seeing as how the show's less-than-stellar ratings had started slipping even lower as of late.
Fans shouldn't be too disappointed just yet though, as there are already strong rumors that talks are underway to move The Mindy Project to streaming service Hulu for another season - and possibly more. Nothing is official yet though, so stay tuned!

Mindy was a great hilarious show. So disappointed in Fox cancelling it yet New Girl gets renewed. Every year we lose a good show this year was Mindy. Hopefully Netflix picks it up .

Guess with nobody watching this it appears the show really was invisible after-all. Now can you make Mindy disappear too?

I watched it part of the first season but quit after they kept making changes to the characters and situations. As a result the cast never jelled into an ensemble. It was sporadically funny and interesting (the first season's Thanksgiving episode comes to mind) but never went anywhere.

Truly bummed about this. I voted for this in a recent Save our Show poll. I was not thrilled that the main character was pregnant, but this show was really sweet & funny. I like the characters & cast. This is probably the only show I watch on Fox. Getting closer to getting rid of cable TV with each show cancellation. I think it's a better value to put that money toward Hulu & Netflix.
