The drama ends after two seasons.
November 2, 2012
It is being reported that USA Network has decided against renewing Fairly Legal for a third season, making it the second show cancelled by the network this week. New series Common Law was also axed.
Fairly Legal never fully lived up to its potential on USA. The network attempted to re-tool the show after a lacklustre first season, but the changes were not enough to warrant a season 3 pick-up.

I blame the Ben Grogan character. They get yet another Aussie to play an American with disastrous consequences IMHO. I found him difficult to watch at best not just the sleazy character but his over enunciated speech (AKA rubbish American accent). Are there no decent American actors or did they all realize the part was garbage? I will miss this show Sarah Shahi was perfect as Kate.

I was trying to find out when the new season would begin and instead I found out it's gone. I thought season 2 was much, much better than season one. I loved the chemistry of the new guy, Ben, and Kate. And Lauren had just really grown on me and we don't find out what all happened with her and the rich Ausi after she gets in the limo with him. Dang!!!

Yeah right cancel a show that at least has plots and entertaining actors in it and replace it with a reality show for morons. Hey USA Network howz about a reality show on potty training? That should provide viewers with the suspense of which baby will beat the others to shedding their diapers. Then throw in those endless commercials of yours and u got yourselves a hit.

I can't believe that USA cancelled 2 of my FAVORITE shows. I loved Fairly Legal and Common Law! The media is constantly cancelling original and good shows like these in favor of these stupid and brainless Reality programs.
