NBC has pulled the low-rated drama from its schedule.
February 8, 2013
NBC has quickly cancelled its newest drama Do No Harm, pulling the series from its schedule after two woefully-low rated episodes.
Repeat airings of Law & Order: SVU will take its 10:00pm Thursday time slot for the next two weeks.

I liked it. It was similar to another show, but different enough I thought it might have a chance. However anything really decent never has a chance. I think Networks expect fireworks right off the bat and are too quick to yank shows. Also they don't advertise alot (I have seen bad shows get better advertising an last longer all because of advertising) and with all the time changes and hiatus and seasons all over the place it it hard to keep track of shows now-a-days.

My husband predicted its cancellation after two episodes lol. I think TV networks are starting to have a serious problem with ADHD. They expect huge numbers right off the bat, when sometimes it takes people a while to warm up to a show.
Pathetic as per usual.

Actually Dwayne, over 3 million people watched it air. It set a record of lowest ratings. Like a 0.9 how sad. Good actor, Horrible writing and plot development

I liked it and was looking forward to next week. To other networks - Please take over this show. It has a lot of potential.

From now on I'm not watching any "new" tv shows until they've been on at least one season! They've cancelled too many after just a couple of episodes!

"Give all series at least one season so people can judge if it's worth sticking with it."
So they can leave the season in a cliffhanger that will reall piss people off. Remember The Gates? Persons Unknown, etc...

I have not seen it yet but come on it has not even been given a chance. What's the point in spending out a fortune making a programme if it's going to be scrapped after 2 episodes. It's a disgrace throwing away money in the worlds' financial climate. Give all series at least one season so people can judge if it's worth sticking with it.

C'mon, people. This show didn't get cancelled because of its content, subject material or any other measure of quality. Networks don't care about any of those things. It got cancelled because it aired during sweeps and only 33 people watched the first episode and only 18 of them came back to watch the second one. Which costs NBC a fortune. THAT they care about.
