ABC Family announced today that Switched at Birth has been renewed for a third season. The drama, which follows two girls who discover they were mistakenly given to the wrong parents as newborns, is gearing up for its Season 2 finale two weeks from now on August 12, 2013.
Season 3 of Switched at Birth is scheduled to premiere in January 2014.

This show is awesome. Plus all you suckers who hate Switched at Birth are just plain stupid. Also if you hate it because Emmet and Bay broke up then watch the last episode of third season. That is the best one especially the last few minutes.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this show!! I really hope it keeps on going. I am having withdrawals not seeing it. Am SO stoked for season 3!!!

So relieved that Switched at Birth is being renewed! I love this show. It has so many twists and turns, it could have a really good run. Hope it keeps on going. Wonderful for hearing impared folks as well as the rest of us. Also wish Bunheads had been renewed. It was quirky and fun.

So done with this show. It lost my interest after the first season- now the characters are very hard to deal with and seem to create their own struggles. It is painful to watch and I was hoping it would be cancelled over other shows. Pull it, please.

I lost interest in this past season. There are no likeable characters at all to get behind in this show other than Emmit and Regina. Both Bay and Daphne are spoiled bitches who get mad half the time prematurely and both who just don't enjoy having any kind of fun. I mean when TY was trying to make her enjoy life she was pissed off the entire time and then hurt her own self and got mad at Ty. I honestly just can't enjoy this show anymore it seems to be going nowhere at this point. But I also hate John and Kathryn both as well. The show has just been lame at this point and it won't be getting any better I'm sure of. I gave up on this show because it just isn't trying anymore and it has no OMG moments to make me want to keep tuning in each week.

I love this show. Great show for deaf and hearing impaired. More shows should incorporate sign language.
