CBS announced today that Mike & Molly has been renewed for a fifth season in 2014-2015.
Today's announcement included the renewals of 18 primetime shows for next season. Other comedies receiving pick-ups today include The Millers, 2 Broke Girls, Mom, and Two and a Half Men. Still waiting on news is The Crazy Ones.
Update: Season 5 of Mike & Molly will premiere on Monday, December 8 at 8:30pm.

OK we all know we love the show, and we know its returning for the 2014/2015 season. What we don't know (and it appears) that it a trade secret by insiders of the actual date of the return.

This series grabbed my attention and has touched my soul, I am a retired Cop and Molly & Mike is a Genuine comedy that represents, so many in the country today, Melissa Mccarthys pure acting abilities bring excellence and obviously very hard work together in a way not seen on TV since the I Love Lucy era, great job keep the episodes coming.

I've been waiting for "MIKE AND MOLLY" to come on this Fall, I've yet to see the show. I really do like the cast and would like to see it come back. Some of the other shows have been moved around, the dramas, and some of the other comedies which are a joke. They should take them off the air. Please bring back MIKE and MOLLY. Keep the NCIS programs and Crimimal Minds, they are great to watch.

PLEASE BRING BACK "MIKE AND MOLLY' AS I LOVE THAT SHOW.IT IS SO FUNNY, AND I ESPECIALLY LOVE THE WHOLE CAST. THEY ARE SOOO GREAT....I AM SO DEVOTED TO MIKE AND MOLLY, THAT I HAVE ALL OF THE SEASONS THAT HAVE COME OUT SO FAR, HOPING FOR SEASON 5.......OR,I MIGHT SAY, IM PRAYING FOR SEASON 5..... Me and my husband watched season 5, the 1st 2 episodes came on and we haven't seen it since?! I read something about the show bashing the gay community?? Well, is it coming back or not!!!????

I can't wait for Mike and Molly comes back on the air. All the cast members work so well together and it makes the show so funny.

I miss the show, please, when does the new season start. It makes us laugh, which we get so little of on most of TV. Leave out the smut, you don't need it to be funny. We are sick of sex and violence.
