CBS announced today that Person of Interest has been renewed for a fourth season. The popular drama continues to be ratings winner for the network in its time period.
Today's announcement included the renewals of 18 primetime shows for the 2014-2015 season. Other dramas receiving pick-ups today include NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles, The Good Wife, Criminal Minds, Elementary, CSI, Hawaii Five-0, and Blue Bloods. Still waiting on news include The Mentalist and Intelligence.
UPDATE: Season 4 of Person of Interest will premiere on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at 10:00pm.

I am very disappointed in the way the show has changed. I miss the original story line. What is going on now has left me not wanting to watch the next season. How can writers go that far off the mark with a great show and turn it into what it is now. Very SAD

This is a great show. the characters are unusual, and have a unique relationship, with a twist, and sometimes are at bay with each other. Last week the NBA playoffs were in full swing, and I'm sure a lot of shows had poor viewership, however, have the critic heard of TVO and other tv recorders, that most people have?? We always record our tv shows, it is Impossible to watch all the shows we like, as some of them are on the same day or time. Take stock of what was recorded, that is a true measure of popularity!!! GEEZE!!!

Last week's episode with the dead Carter returning was superb. The cast is superb, but you need to bring back Carter and Shaw to make it complete. With the original cast of characters you had the perfect blend of drama and humor.

I have just finished season 3, i really liked all of them, i only wish Carter's departure is just a dream.

Great show! Watched from day 1. Need to bring to back Shaw with Reece as they deal with the bad guys. Also like the current team when they deal with the typical lists. Keep renewing the contracts!!! Deal with the old Samaritan guy and dismantle Samaritan.

I used to love this show before they ruined it by adding in the lesbian scenes the last show they did. It didn't fit into the show. It was really disappointing. I won't watch it anymore.
