Fox has cancelled new series Surviving Jack after one season. The freshman comedy will end after a short 8-episode run with its scheduled finale on May 15.
The network had originally ordered 13 episodes in early 2013, but cut that number down to eight late last year. The show finally premiered this past March but failed to draw significant viewership.

Oh come on! Fox you really think that canceling this show is the smart thing to do?!?! No it's not my boyfriend and I love surviving jack its a great show. Please bring it back!!!!

Intelligent, funny, quirky, everything for a good show and the idiots cancelled it! What you needed a slot for show with more money or a buddy who wants his show aired? Nuts!!!!

Even though you (fox) said that you would take a second look at the cancelled shows,, doesn't mean a thing!! its all about money, and the latest reality crap you can come up with. " Jack " was awesome for a lot of reasons and you cancelled it for "failed significant viewership"? Come on now!! how about leaving it on for more than 7 weeks?? Remember, you had 13 episodes made!! advertise it without American Idol around.. arrgghh!!

I didn't see this until it was on Hulu. I have only been able to see episodes 3-7. Well written, acted and flow, a great show that should not have been canceled.
Fox should reconsider this decsion and do a better job of promotion.
