The reality experiment ends after five episodes.
July 4, 2014
The CW has pulled the plug on its new reality show Famous in 12. The series premiered a month ago and followed a family trying to achieve overnight success with the help of TMZ among others. Unsurprisingly the experiment was ultimately a failure, as it was revealed in the show's most recent episode that it would not be continuing and the family would be heading home.

That's not the way you create another. horrible Kardashian family. should have asked somebody. I could have told him. Lol. Sex Tape anyone?

This was tmzs little project that failed. They felt they were so popular they could elevate a bunch of nobodies to celebrity status just by following them around and constantly posting about them on their site. I'm glad it failed and tmz got to eat some humble pie while the got knocked off their perch.

Now if they can just cancel all the other stupid "reality" shows: [False] Idol, Big B[r]other, Survivor [the search is over], etc.

There are no words to describe how this garbage actually got on in the first place. I honestly had never heard of it. Nothing surprises me anymore. Whoever put this on the air should be fired. They managed to come up with something so stupid that even the viewers in this country, who have no taste, would not watch it. Good riddance. Now if they can only cancel about 20 more shows like this.

It was a show created by TMZ, I was able to get through 2 episodes. Horrible show.

I've never heard of this show, but... "A family trying to achieve overnight success" by appearing in a reality show on the worst, least-watched network on television. what a surprise it didn't work.

If this is the kind of stuff that gets I TV, what did they pass on?
