Longmire is a great show. Yes, it is geared to the "older generation" but so what? There are lots of us over 60 who love great TV shows. I sincerely hope the production company finds another cable station to pick up the show. It would really be a shame for it not to continue.

when they cancelled the glades with such a great cliff hanger, I was almost thru with A&E, but I loved Longmire and would not give up on that show….now they cancel the one show that is the only good show left on their channel…OUTRAGED….to say the least. Done done done with A&E because I'm tired of getting hooked on their shows only to have them cancelled because I don't fall into a stupid age bracket..Stop canceling, you just might get more viewers..idiots

Doesn't A&E realize how many people record Longmire to watch later? All of the stations need more shows like this and get rid of those ignorant Reality shows.

I search every few days to see if Longmire has been negotiated to another source. It doesn't seem possible that such a great show could get pushed off to the side. What is A & E thinking?
Not giving up yet !!! Hoping a REAL network picks it up so new viewers will be given the op to see this outstanding show. The outcome might even be more episodes per season. Go Longmire !!!!!

It's being reported that this show was cancelled because the key demographic (young males) was not watching. Those 50 and over were. Guess we know where we stand in TV execs minds. So ditch a good show, to put on some reality jackass based themed show to entertain the kids. Nice!
