Netflix announced today that Longmire has been renewed for a fifth season. The veteran drama will be returning for its second season on the streaming service, which acquired it from A&E after its cancellation in 2014.
Season 5 of Longmire is expected to be 10 episodes in length, in-line with Season 4. Look for the new season in 2016.

I just want to say thank you Netflix for giving us another 10 weeks of Longmire. My husband & I love the show so much. We hope it. Goes on for a very long time

The only child is Buster Douglas and his idiotic comments. It'a well written show with a lot of action. Buster, go back to your "reality" shows

thank god. The last season was so awesome. Incredible and unique. Thank you Netflix. Lets hope they keep it around for several more seasons.
