Longmire bites the dust ? What does a writer have to do to get a hit series these days ? Longmire had heaps of potential, gritty characters by the truckload, majestic backdrops, great storylines and wickedly good actors, able and captivating. Longmire hit our screens with a fresh outlook on the murder mystery front, and stood out against other shows in the present genre. Better than Fargo by miles, harder than Major Crimes and bigger than a ten gallon hat when it came to location shoots. What am i saying, the idiots cancelled 'Firefly', there's no cure for terminal Dumb Assness !

A&E losers what is wrong with your programming directors do you report to anyone? You should be the ones being cancelled. First the Killing and now the Longmire show.
Keep up the good work and maybe someone will cancel A&E!!!

I am disgusted with A&E. You cancel a really excellent show like Longmire and bring back dallas!!!!! are you out of your friggin minds?????????? More trash TV. I really hoped you had raised the bar and were going to do some quality shows for a change.

Well, of COURSE they had to cancel Longmire - they needed to make room for their new show, "Brandi and Jarrod: Married to the Job" All you Longmire fans are just gonna LOVE this hilarious reality-show romp! And it's a spin-off of another reality show - what a recipe for guaranteed success!

I told myself--do not watch Longmire this season. After what A & E did to "The Glades" I just knew they may do the same to Longmire. I could not help myself--I again watched Longmire. Then they did the same thing to Longmire as they did to The Glades. That is is--I hope both Duck Dynasty and Waldbergers both leave A & E. No more will I get hooked by another show on this piss of s network.

This was my favorite show on television. I can't imagine what this network is thinking and I truly hope someone else picks it up. I loved the way they devoloped the characters in this show and kept you wanting more. Silly me, I was hoping for a longer season instead of no season at all.

F*** this. These A**holes wouldn't know quality television if it bit them in the back side. Go ahead and make 7 versions of the same da*n show and fill the rest of the air time with reality puke. I am always a little disgusted when I come here to read (nothing to do with the site obviously) but really. A VERY high quality FAMILY friendly show like longmire should take precedence over junk that what, might have a 1/2 point higher rating. Our children are doomed to piracy forever if they want to watch anything of quality.
Side Note: These are NOT just words being thrown out and it makes no difference to A&E I'm sure but I just canceled my DishNetwork service over this and I let them know why. I hope others follow suit. If not for this show but for quality television in general.

You guys are so sad the show and the actors are just great.oF COURSE IT IS A decent show so you would take it off. Sick bunch of people to take off such a good show. i watched it every week.,
