Syfy announced today that Defiance has been renewed for a third season. The action drama has continued to perform well in its second season, ranking as one of cable's top prime time programs on Thursday nights with an average of 2.7 million total viewers (Live+7).
The network has ordered 13 episodes for Season 3 of Defiance, with an expected premiere in 2015.

YES! It is a great show... hope to know more about why the Space Fleet "blew up" all at once killing most of the Voltan races. Lady MacBeth (Stelma) and her husband are just fantastic in their complex relationship.
Also, so many little plots still in play!
